Stroll to the Polls
Members joined our Divine Nine brothers and sisters, The League of Women Voters of Westchester, White Plains/Greenburgh NAACP, and other civic organizations in the “Stroll to the Polls” project spearheaded by the Harriet Tubman Voter Registration Committee.
The video, soon to be released, serves as the official kickoff to promote the arrival of the Harriet Tubman Statue coming to White Plains!
The Sorors of Westchester Alumnae were honored to have been given access to the landmark that is known as Villa Lewaro the home of the first Black woman millionaire Madam CJ Walker.
